COVID-19 Vaccination Clinics – Vaccine supply is limited.
Genesee County – Please call (585) 344-2580 ext. 5555 to check vaccine availability and to make an appointment. Genesee clinics will be held on the 1st & 3rd Wednesday of the month. Use the above number for appointments at the Genesee County Health Department.
Orleans County– Please call (585) 589-3278 to check vaccine availability and to make an appointment. Orleans clinics will be held on the 2nd & 4th Thursday of the month. Use the above number for appointments at the Orleans County Health Department.
Bivalent Booster Eligibility:
The FDA authorized bivalent formulations of the Moderna and Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccines for use as a single booster dose at least two months after completing primary or booster vaccination.
The Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine, Bivalent is authorized for use as single booster dose in children 6 months through 5 years of age at least two months after completion of a primary series with the monovalent Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine. It is also authorized for use as a single booster dose in individuals 6 years of age and older at least two months after completion of either primary vaccination with any authorized or approved COVID-19 vaccine, or receipt of the most recent booster dose with any authorized or approved monovalent COVID-19 vaccine.
The Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine, Bivalent is authorized for use as a single booster dose in individuals 5 years of age and older at least two months after completion of either primary vaccination with any authorized or approved COVID-19 vaccine or receipt of the most recent booster dose with any authorized or approved monovalent COVID-19 vaccine.
COVID-19 Monovalent Primary Series Vaccine Eligibility:
All individuals 6 months of age and older that reside in the United States are eligible to receive the vaccine.
Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine (SPIKEVAX) is a monovalent COVID-19 vaccine that is approved for use as a two-dose primary series for the prevention of COVID-19 in individuals 18 years of age and older. It is also authorized for emergency use to provide:
- Two-dose primary series for individuals 6 months of age and older.
- Third primary series dose for individuals 6 months of age and older who have been determined to have certain kinds of immunocompromise.
- Bivalent booster dose for individuals 6 months of age and older at least 2 months after completing a COVID-19 primary series or a previous booster.
Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine (COMIRNATY) is a monovalent COVID-19 vaccine that is FDA approved for use as a two-dose primary series for prevention of COVID-19 in individuals 18 years of age and older. It is also authorized for emergency use to provide:
- Two-dose primary series for individuals 6 months of age and older.
- Two-dose primary series for individuals 5 years of age and older.
- Third primary series dose for individuals 6 months of age and older who have been determined to have certain kinds of immunocompromise.
- Bivalent booster dose for individuals 5 years of age at least 2 months after completing a COVID-19 primary series or a previous booster.

- Your vaccine card from previous COVID-19 dose(s) (you will get one after you receive your first dose).
- Please make sure you keep your appointment. If you need to cancel, please call the Health Department and let us know.
- You will have to stay for approximately 15 minutes after the vaccine to be observed for possible side effects.
